By using any of these platforms, you agree to the terms outlined in this Disclaimer.
2. Purpose of This Disclaimer
This Disclaimer is intended to define the scope and limitations of our information, services, and tools; clarify our role as a property care and service coordination provider; limit liability arising from use of our platforms; and set transparent expectations regarding third-party involvement, service outcomes, and property-related risks.
3. No Professional Advice
All information, recommendations, assessments, and guidance provided through our platforms, tools, or communications:
- Are general in nature
- Do not constitute professional engineering, structural, legal, financial, or architectural advice
- Should not be relied upon as a substitute for consultation with appropriately qualified professionals
Where required, clients are responsible for obtaining independent advice from licensed professionals.
4. Estimates, Quotations, and Satellite-Based Measurements
Any estimates, pricing tools, or preliminary cost indications provided:
- Are non-binding and indicative only
- Are based on limited or user-provided information
- May change upon physical inspection, final scope definition, or market conditions
- May be based on satellite imagery which may differ from actual physical measurements
Satellite-based measurement tools (including those powered by Google Maps) provide approximate estimates. Actual measurements may vary. These tools do not replace physical site measurement or professional surveying.
5. Property Assessments
Property assessments, including virtual or in-person evaluations, are visual and non-invasive. They do not constitute formal inspections or compliance certifications, and do not identify hidden, latent, or structural defects. In particular, hairline cracks, micro-fractures, and latent surface deterioration may not be visible during a visual assessment and may only become apparent during or after service delivery.
6. Pre-Existing Surface Conditions and Pressure Washing
RSM Property Care & Refresh wishes to draw particular attention to the following:
- Surfaces may contain hairline cracks, micro-fractures, spalling, or latent deterioration that are not visible during a non-invasive visual assessment
- The application of high-pressure water to compromised surfaces may result in water ingress, surface damage, internal moisture damage, paint lifting, or further deterioration of pre-existing conditions
- RSM Property Care & Refresh shall not be held liable for water ingress, internal or external damage, or any consequential loss arising from pressure washing applied to surfaces with pre-existing hairline cracks, micro-fractures, or other latent defects
- Clients who are uncertain about the structural condition of their surfaces are strongly advised to obtain an independent assessment from a qualified structural engineer or contractor prior to proceeding
7. Third-Party Services and Vendor Network
Referral Basis
- The third party operates independently
- Any agreement is solely between the client and the third party
- We accept no responsibility for their workmanship, performance, delays, or omissions
Vendor Partner Network
RSM Property Care & Refresh operates a vendor partner network through which vetted third-party tradespeople are allocated jobs via our portal. Vendors are independent contractors and not employees of RSM Property Care & Refresh. We do not guarantee the workmanship of vendor partners beyond the terms of the applicable service agreement.
8. No Guarantee of Results
While our services aim to improve property condition and presentation, we make no guarantees regarding property value increases, sale timelines, rental outcomes, return on investment, or complete removal of all stains, marks, defects, or deterioration. Outcomes may vary based on material condition, age, and external factors beyond our control.
9. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, RSM Property Care & Refresh shall not be held liable for any loss or damage, including:
- Indirect or consequential loss
- Loss of income or opportunity
- Property-related damages arising from reliance on website content, estimates, or recommendations
- Damage arising from pre-existing surface conditions exposed during service delivery
- Water ingress or internal damage resulting from pressure washing of surfaces with pre-existing hairline cracks or latent defects
10. Intellectual Property
All content on our platforms, including text, branding, systems, tools, and portal functionality, is the property of RSM Property Care & Refresh and may not be reproduced without written permission.
11. Governing Law
This Disclaimer is governed by the laws of the Republic of South Africa.
