Vendor FAQs

Is there a cost to join the RSM vendor network?+
No. Joining the RSM vendor network is completely free. There is no sign-on fee, no monthly fee, and no commission deducted from your invoices. You quote your rates, you invoice, and you get paid in full.
How quickly will I start receiving jobs?+
Most approved vendors receive their first job allocation within 5–10 business days. Job volume increases as your performance rating builds. We prioritise vendors who respond quickly and maintain high completion rates.
How does RSM allocate jobs to vendors?+
Jobs are matched based on your trade type, geographic area, current availability, and performance rating. High-rated vendors receive first priority on premium and recurring jobs.
Can I set my own rates?+
Yes. RSM does not impose fixed rates on vendors. For inspection-based services, you quote directly after assessing the job. For instant-quote services, we work with you on rate alignment.
What if I'm a sole trader, not a registered company?+
At this stage, RSM requires all vendors to be registered legal entities (Pty Ltd, CC, or similar). We recommend registering with CIPC — it's straightforward and opens many opportunities.
How long does the vetting process take?+
Typically 2 business days from the date we receive your complete application with all required documents. You'll receive WhatsApp and email updates at each stage.
