Most residential artificial grass installations are completed in 1–2 days. Hard surface installs (concrete or paving) are faster than soft surface (soil excavation) which requires sub-base preparation. We confirm a timeline in your quote based on the specific area and surface type.
Hard surface installation (R80/m² labour) involves cleaning and gluing the grass directly onto concrete or paving. Soft surface installation (R150/m² labour) requires excavation to 80–100mm depth, a geotextile weed membrane, crusher dust sub-base, cement border channels, and then the turf installation. Soft surface produces a higher quality, fully drained finish.
